Best time to visit Wieliczka Salt Mine
The tourist route is 17 to 18 °C underground. The weather in Kraków is a different matter. The Miners' Route is a little cooler at 14 to 16 °C. So the best time to visit the mine depends on three other things: the ticket season, the closed days and what else you plan to do outside.
For most visitors, May, June or September are a good middle: mild days and the middle ticket price. If price matters most, the months from January to April and October to December carry the lowest tariff. Book your visit on the Wieliczka Salt Mine tickets page.
